JSC “Nilma” is one of the greatest wood processing companies in the Baltic region. This company works since 1997. JSC “Nilma” has three wood processing plants in Kaunas, Neman (Kaliningrad, Russia) and new one in Ariogala, Raseiniai district. Two hundred qualified specialists work for the company.
The company mainly specializes in high quality glued-wood beams for the production of windows and doors. Also this company works on industrially painted outside finish claddings. Moreover, “Nilma” produces terrace, floor claddings, glued constructional wood, furniture parts and other planed and glued details.
Mainly pine, Northern fir and Siberian larch are used for the production. The wood is accurately selected by the specialists before it comes to the plants of the company.
The plants of the company “Nilma” are equipped with the machines from the Italian manufactures “Makor” and German “Weinig Gruppe”, therefore, the efficiency of the company is 3000 m3 of the production per month.
The products of the company “Nilma” have been granted the certificates of the Lithuanian Construction Production Certifying Center (SPSC) in 2000. Since 2002 the quality management and environment management systems have been established in the company. These systems correspond to the requirements of the international standards ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14002:1996.
Painted claddings
The painted high quality claddings produced by the company “Nilma” are used for the outside finishing. The offered claddings are of various profiles. Modern equipment and innovative technical solutions are used for the production of the claddings. In 2008 company has installed a vacuum painting system “Makor”. The efficiency of this system is 2000 m3 per month.
Vacuum painting is the latest technology for painting of the profiled wood. This method is of higher quality and quicker than other conventional methods. Painting is performed in a vacuum chamber where paint is spread. Due to this technology all surfaces of the wood are evenly covered with paint. Vacuum painting method ensures wood surface resistance to climate effects and protects it from the mould spores.
